Sounds of Voices and Knocking in a Country House by the Forest near Apraksin

I sometimes spend the night in a country house at the edge of the forest. Near DS2 in a place called Apraksin. Known for the fact that during the war there were the most brutal battles there and a huge number of people died. I have a habit of grinding captchas on micro-work until 3-4 in the morning, and then going to sleep — an IT guy, what can you do.

1. The time before last it was the same. Sat around and went to bed. Started drifting off to sleep at around 3-something, and suddenly it seemed like someone was knocking at the door. I woke up, of course. And decided it was just my imagination.

2. That same time, a bit later, I woke up because I heard what sounded like someone talking near the house on the road. I have neighbors nearby who live there permanently and get up at 5 in the morning and start walking around, starting the car and talking. I thought it was already morning and it was them. Looked out the window — nobody on the road. It was around 4-something.

3. This time, literally yesterday. Falling asleep at 3 in the morning, I again heard what sounded like two male voices calmly talking right next to the house. Couldn't make out the words. I got seriously pissed off, thought some thieves were prowling around the property, ran to the window, grabbed an axe and quickly ran out into the yard, but of course there was nobody there.

The plot itself, of course, oy vey. 6 small craters on 20 sotkas. But that's normal for this area, I've lived here since childhood and I'm used to it. In the pine forest you could find helmets pierced by shrapnel literally everywhere. Peak strongly related.
