Night walk with dog near cemetery: passerby vanishes

The most recent case was two years ago, I was walking my dog at night near the cemetery (there are no urban legends, the road there is good, forest, lighting, and it's not far from home). I had a huge and beautiful cane corso (unfortunately died of cancer). And so I'm standing on the path, watching him so he doesn't eat anything there, he's doing his business in the grass. And out of the corner of my eye I see someone walking, what I especially remember is the trouser leg of classic trousers and a patent leather shoe, brown. So I step from the center of the path closer to the edge, not taking my eyes off the dog (what if he starts guarding me, I'll say it's all fine), and sort of let this person pass. I turn my head to see who passed, and there's no one there, I turned my head around, no one around either. And I'm like: "Archi, that's it, let's go home, faster."
