Cat in the hallway vanished after the light was turned on
good evening, literally this Saturday something strange happened, I come home late in the evening, the apartment is dark.
I open the door to the apartment, and the stairwell light illuminates the hallway, at the end of the hallway by the wardrobe my cat is sitting, and looking at me with eyes glinting from the light.
I turn away to turn on the light. I turn it on and she's already gone.
I take off my shoes, walk through, and she's actually far away in the corner of the armchair sleeping belly-up... she's fat, and she's already 15 years old. she couldn't have pulled that off in 20 seconds...

Possible ordinary explanations
Suggested by the editor, not the witness. Not a verdict.
- The cat moved quickly and quietly while the narrator was turning away to reach the light switch.
- The narrator briefly misjudged the cat's position in the dark, and the stairwell light created a misleading impression.
- The cat may have been in the armchair the whole time, and the figure in the hallway was a trick of shadow and light.
