Movement in the treetops and a dog-sized creature at a dacha plot

My plot is all birches, not like a normal Soviet-era dacha with vegetable beds. In the summer of 2021 I constantly saw, out of the corner of my eye, some kind of movement on the plot and in the forest behind it, high up (about 3 meters above the ground) in the trees. Roughly like in the movie about the predator. It didn't cause any fear, and I chalked it all up to wind and foliage. But in 2022–2023 I didn't see anything like that anymore. I'd never have written this here, but this summer, standing on my plot, out of the corner of my eye I saw something the size of a big dog running through the tall grass from the forest toward the road, across the neighbors' empty plot (theirs is all cleared and sown with grass). When I raised my eyes and looked at that spot, there was nothing there. And I wouldn't have paid attention to that either, but recently a neighbor asked me whether my cameras had caught anything. I said no. And he says his wife was walking her little dog and saw something the size of a big dog come out of the forest onto the road. Definitely not a fox (the neighbors love fishing and the forest and know their stuff about these things). Again I didn't pay attention to it, maybe some wolf, but then I remembered I'd seen something similar out of the corner of my eye, and I shit a brick.
