Knocking and Creaking at the Door of a Village House
Notestrong language
In 2010, during spring break, my 7-year-old self and my 13-year-old cousin were sent to the village to our grandpa's for about 1.5 weeks. They had an old computer there with the first Half-Life, which we played, and also grandpa every day when leaving for work gave us money so we could go to the computer club, so basically every day we sat 3-4 hours at the local computers playing CS 1.6 with the locals. One day around 8 PM grandpa and grandma went to visit someone, and we didn't want to go and sat until about 10 playing on the computer. Then at some point we heard knocking at the door, there were windows on both sides of the door, and outside there was a streetlight and nobody was visible there, the computer was in the living room where that very door was, so basically we were sitting with our backs to it. I was fucking terrified back then, immediately shit my pants, my brother seemed to have freaked out too, but didn't really show it. We sit there, keep playing, and then some creaking is heard from outside, like someone is shaking the outer fence, or trying to open the metal door. I got really fucking scared, started telling him like go look, and he apparently had already shit himself too and didn't agree with me. We sit like that for about 10-15 minutes, maximally tense, and then, holy fuck, something slammed into the door. We left the computer, ran to the bedroom, where we slept on 2 separate beds. I got so fucking scared that I asked to sleep in the same bed with him. So we lay there for about 2 hours until grandpa and grandma came back. We told this story to everyone we could, everyone was kind of whatever about it. Besides this, nothing creepy ever happened to me in my life
