Creaking Floorboards in a Village House, Winter 2019
Notestrong language
Maybe you've seen this thread, maybe not, but just in case I'll say it: I wrote this thread, but ended up losing it.
The story is real, even now, when I remember it, I get chills.
Anyway, it happened in 2019, I was 13 then. We're from Barnaul ourselves, but sometimes we go to Salair. There's a village there called Verkh-Koptelka. The village is small, it's in the taiga near Togul, population — about 40 people, maybe even a bit less. Mostly people here are into beekeeping, hunting, cattle breeding and fishing — the store is in another village anyway, it takes 1.5 hours to get there. So, we went to the village one winter — I had to help my father with the chores — put the bees in the shed and clear the paths. Well, after helping with the chores I was sitting in front of the TV as usual (an old Sharp from the 90s, about like in the photo), watching the news. Then I decided to watch "Triple Fast and Furious" on Channel One, but didn't finish it — mom asked me to go to bed, since we had to leave early. And so I'm lying there and I hear some strange sound (like a creak). I immediately think: what the hell? A cat? But we closed all the doors, no one could get in. The neighbor? Unlikely, everyone around is asleep. And then I hear... This thing is walking right in our room! I could literally hear the floorboards creaking in the room. And the scariest part: I didn't see this thing. And my parents didn't hear it. I was already hiding under the blanket, started saying "Lord, save and help!" I repeated it three times. And this creepy thing was still walking. Somehow I fell asleep, after which we left at 10 in the morning. You'd think I'm 19 now, but this story still gives me the creeps.
